The default look is slightly modernized. That was actually one of Apple’s conditions for approving the app on the App Store. But you can switch to the Classic Ring style anytime from Settings, and I show how to do it in the video.

Erst in der letzten Woche wettete ich dagegen, dass dieses „little project“ – NostalgicPod – mal im App Store aufschlägt.

„Turn sideways. Glide through your library.“ Sleeve schiebt eure Apple-Music-Bibliothek in eine Old-School-Cover-Flow-Ansicht – inklusive einer Fingerschnippgeste, um das Cover auf die Rückseite zu drehen.

Noch etwas verspielter interpretiert NostalgicPod diese alte iPod-Idee. Die an dieser Stelle erwähnte Software bleibt vorerst jedoch in einer TestFlight-Beta.

Haltet ihr das iPhone hochkant, wechselt die Ansicht zu einer „Album Wall“ – bekannt etwa von Longplay. Diese Wand mit Covern driftet langsam über den Screen – bildschirmschonerähnlich und komplett ohne Steuerelemente.
